Job Title: Principal / Lead Webex Dedicated Instance (DI) Architect (Immediate Joiners Are Preferred) Experience: 10+ years in Unified Communications / Voice / Collaboration technologies, with at least 5+ years of architecture ownership in Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance (DI) or large-scale CUCM-to-cloud transformation programmes. Key Responsibilities Architecture Leadership & Governance Act as the Principal Architect and technical authority for Webex Dedicated Instance across transformation and BAU initiatives. Define target-state Webex DI architecture covering call control, clusters, regions, dial plans, PSTN connectivity, SBCs, survivability, and security. Establish architectural standards, reusable design patterns, and governance frameworks for Webex DI deployments. Own and approve HLDs, LLDs, migration strategies, dial plans, and integration blueprints. Webex DI Platform & Call Control Architecture Architect and govern Webex DI CUCM clusters, including sizing, redundancy, geo-redundancy, and load balancing. Define global dial plan and routing strategies, including location-based calling, emergency services, and normalization. Design survivability and resilience models including SRST, local gateways, and redundant call routing. Migration & Transformation Leadership Lead large-scale migrations from on-prem CUCM (11.x and above) to Webex Dedicated Instance. Define migration approaches for: Users, devices, extensions, and DNs Voice gateways, trunks, and legacy integrations Call features (hunt groups, pickup groups, managerassistant profiles) Drive phased, low-risk execution models aligned with enterprise change governance. SIP, PSTN & SBC Architecture Architect SIP and PSTN connectivity using Cisco CUBE, AudioCodes, or Ribbon SBCs. Design and govern AudioCodes SBCbased integrations for Webex DI, including SIP/TLS, SRTP, media interworking, and enterprise security controls. Lead integration of AudioCodes SBCs for Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, PSTN connectivity, and hybrid voice scenarios with Webex DI. Govern PSTN models including local gateway, cloud-connected PSTN, and direct provider integrations. Ensure secure signalling and media (TLS/SRTP), codec strategies, QoS, high availability, and end-to-end interoperability. Integration & Hybrid Voice Architecture Architect hybrid voice integrations with: Microsoft Teams (Direct Routing) Webex Calling and on-prem environments Contact Center platforms (UCCE / Webex CC) Define interworking designs between Webex DI, SBC layers, and enterprise WAN/LAN environments. Required Technical Expertise Unified Communications Platforms Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance (DI) Cisco CUCM, CUC, IM&P Voice gateways and call routing Voice & Signalling SIP, SDP, RTP/SRTP PSTN architectures and emergency calling Dial plan design and normalization SBC & Network Cisco CUBE, AudioCodes, Ribbon SBCs WAN/LAN QoS, NAT, firewall traversal Hybrid cloud connectivity models Cloud & Integrations Webex Control Hub Microsoft Teams Direct Routing Integration with Contact Center platforms Certifications (Preferred) CCNP Collaboration / CCIE Collaboration Cisco Webex Calling / DI certifications Cloud architecture certifications (advantage) Skills: sip,cisco,integration,routing,webex,architecture .
