Manual QA Engineer Location: Pune, India (Hybrid) Experience: 4+ years Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Hands-on experience testing web applications and complex end-to-end business workflows. Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and user-acceptance testing. Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, Insomnia, or similar tools. Ability to write SQL queries for validating data in relational databases such as MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Experience creating detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports. Experience using defect and test-management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, or similar platforms. Good understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP/HTTPS, browser developer tools, JSON, and API-based integrations. Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail. Ability to communicate defects, risks, and testing outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned features, and manage testing priorities within release timelines. Additional Skills Good to Have Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
