We are looking for a skilled Android TV App developer with expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK and OOP concepts to join our Android TV team. Key Job Requirements: In this role, you will be successful if you have: Experience: BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of experience in developing complex, large-scale Android applications Relevant hands-on experience in Android app software development with a focus on high-performance systems using the Kotlin framework. Skills & Competencies: Must Have: Excellent proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK and OOP concepts. [Critical requirement] Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android OTT applications, Android TV apps, and Android Video apps. Robust knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices Good understanding of Android basics like memory management, thread management, networking, etc. Good understanding of Android architecture components and Jetpack libraries Positive understanding of Kotlin coroutines and async programming. Hands-on experience with unit testing. Positive understanding of dependency injection with Dagger2 or Hilt. Experience in UI development using the Jetpack Compose toolkit is an added advantage. Hands-on knowledge of supporting multiple versions of Android, screen resolutions and device types Working knowledge of tools like Jira and CICD Jenkins needed for the job Effective communication and soft skills .
