Role Description The Heavy Fabrication Engineer (QA/QC) at Edlipse Engineering Global Pvt. Ltd. will oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for heavy fabrication projects across PAN India, working on-site from Noida. This full-time role involves monitoring fabrication processes, conducting inspections, and verifying compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. The Engineer will review welding and machining procedures, supervise testing of fabricated components, and document quality reports and non-conformance issues. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, vendors, and clients, supporting root-cause analysis, and driving corrective and preventive actions. The role also requires maintaining QA/QC documentation, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of fabrication and inspection practices. Ability to work on-site in Noida and travel to project locations across PAN India as required. Qualifications Strong Quality Control skills, including QA/QC processes, inspection methods, and familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes. Hands-on Welding experience, with knowledge of welding procedures, weld inspection, WPS/PQR, and applicable welding standards. Solid Mechanical Engineering foundation, including understanding of fabrication drawings, materials, stress and load considerations, and equipment used in heavy fabrication. Practical Machining skills related to heavy fabrication, such as knowledge of machining processes, tolerances, and dimensional checks. Effective Project Management abilities, including planning QA/QC activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing timelines and documentation. Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Experience in heavy fabrication, structural steel, pressure vessels, or similar industrial projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with ISO quality systems and safety standards; experience supporting audits and certifications is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work on-site in Noida and travel to project locations across PAN India as required. .
