Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer / Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience to serve as the primary contact of our Microsoft Fabricbased data analytics environment. This role is hands on and critical to our data strategy. You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, models, and dashboards that support business decision making across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and up-to-date data modeling practices, and is comfortable operating as the sole resource managing our analytics platform. Core Responsibilities - Manage and maintain Microsoft Fabric workplace, including workspaces, capacities, and security. - Monitor, maintain, and enhance data pipelines (Dataflows, Data Factory, Lakehouse pipelines). - Maintain and evolve the Data Lake / Lakehouse (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers), including schema evolution and data quality. - Design, build, and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting needs. - Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets. - Write SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation. - Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure reliable data delivery. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights. - Ensure performance, accuracy, and reliability of reports, pipelines, and data models. - Document data models, pipelines, and dashboards to support maintainability and knowledge sharing. Required Qualifications & Skills - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. - 5+ years of hands on experience with Power BI development and data modeling. - Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines, and SQL. - Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and semantic modeling. - Solid understanding of data modeling best practices (star schema, dimensional modeling). - Experience maintaining data patterns (Bronze/Silver/Gold). - Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation. - Understanding of data engineering fundamentals, including version control, CI/CD, and monitoring. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders. - Experience working in an Agile environment. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) and/or manufacturing industry data. - Familiarity with governance, security, and performance optimization in Microsoft Fabric. .
