POSITION SUMMARY: Team Leader Commercial Take responsibility for overall performance of the Commercial Department , Legal and Statutory compliance by adhering complex rules, policiesand procedures that regulateour business practices, keep the Commercial team self-motivated to deliver required results to the company even under challenging times. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure Legal and Statutory compliance with regard to all activities connected with Customs, GST, SEZ, MOOWR, DGFT, Foreign Trade and Central Excise departments by filingall Returns on time, paying applicable duties and taxes, following the rules & procedures etc.Submitnecessary representations to the Central Govt. to retain the existing duty exemptions and benefit ofother schemes ( IGCRD , RoDTEP etc).Give new suggestions to the Central Govt.as budget proposals which will support the growth of AFCI business.Identify risks that AFCIfaces (like anti-dumping duty, QCO, withdrawal of notifications etc. ) and advise the managementhow to avoid or address them.Give necessary advises to various departments with regard to dutyexemption and classification (HSN Code)of importmaterials Liaison with concernedGovt. departments, whenever necessary, for smooth functioningof daily import,export and billing activities.Handle Audit conducted by various Govt. Departments viz. GST, Customs, Central Excise, and Export Inspection Agency .Establish system and process to support Import/Export/GST/DGFT activitieswhenever there is change inrules and procedures. Submit replies toLetters / Queries/ ShowCause Notices received fromCustoms / GST / SEZ / DGFT and Central Excise Departments. Litigate disputed matters at appropriate forum andfileappealsbefore Appellate Tribunals and High Courtthroughleadingattorneys for favourable order . Stay updated on the latest trade and tariff regulations. Watch Customs , GST, DGFT Notifications/circulars / public notices / policy changes on regular basis and pick up the points useful to AFCI and initiate actions to get the possible financial benefit. Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws, classification of goods, including customs tariffs, and regulations concerning precious metals like gold and palladium Review RM / Inputs listwithEngg.Team on regular basis andadd more eligible items in the IGCRD list to get optimal duty benefittothe company and remove ineligible items to avoid any issue in future. Customise the ERPwith the help of IS Team based on various requirements from Customs / GST departments. Monitor all activities of Bonded Warehouse and ensure proper record maintenance and submission of returns. Identify cost reduction opportunities and make contribution for the growth ofthe company. Preparation and submission ofapplicationforincentive under SPECS scheme and avail thebenefitby driving & co-ordinating with the Ministry of Electronics & PMA . Any other responsibilities that the Management may entrust from time to time. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED Education MBA ( Preferably with International Business) / LLB Experience 20+ years of experience in Manufacturingdomain (Through knowledge in Customs, GST, SEZ, MOOWR, FTP and International TradesRules, Regulations & procedures .
