Job Overview Manages the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence projects and initiatives to enhance business strategic decision-making capabilities. Job Requirements - Managing the design, delivery, and maintenance of the business intelligence (BI) program to support business processes and priorities with minimal oversight from higher bands. - Analyzing data and identifying requirements for business enhancement. - Managing the team in application and mastery of Business Intelligence to perform data requirements gathering, analysis, profiling, modeling, development and testing. - Managing the translation of business requirements into technical requirements with minimal support from higher bands. Roles & Responsibilities - Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Data Engineers and Visualization Experts, including performance management and career development. - Foster a solid engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Set clear priorities, balance workloads across multiple initiatives, and ensure reliable delivery against commitments. - Work closely with the Data Insights & Analytics (DIA) team, business partners, and stakeholders to identify reporting needs, metrics, data assets, and systems. - Support data modeling and dataset creation using Databricks with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, enabling self-service analytics and reporting. - Serve as a data subject matter expert for datasets within the data lake, providing guidance to engineers and stakeholders. - Act as a key anchor for data extraction, preparation, and hosting processes. - Design, develop, and test architecture for data extraction, preparation, and integration. - Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, security, and governance across the data ecosystem. - Streamline data preparation and processes for maximum automation and efficiency. - Guide best practices for Databricks architecture, Power BI reporting, data quality frameworks, testing, and analytics enablement. - Partner with analytics teams to deliver scalable semantic models and enterprise reporting solutions. - Work closely with business partners, product owners, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions. - Act as a bridge between technical teams and business functions to ensure alignment on priorities, scope, and outcomes. - Contribute to the data and analytics roadmap, aligning platform investments with business strategy. - Drive standardization, automation, and modernization of data pipelines and analytics workflows. Desired Candidate - 10+ years of experience in data engineering, reporting, or related roles, with 3+ years in a peoplemanagement or technical leadership role. - Proven experience managing teams of Data Engineers and Dashboard developers. - Strong handson experience with: - Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Lakehouse patterns, Medalia Architecture) - Python, PySpark Workbooks, Spark SQL & SQL Wearhouse - Unity Catalog(data Governance, Lineage) - Microsoft Fabric (including One Lake, Data Engineering / Data Warehouse experiences, and integration with Power BI) - Cloudbased data platforms and pipelines - Strong problemsolving skills and a result-oriented mindset. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. - Familiarity with Devops CI/CD Pipelines - Exposure to advanced analytics, AI/ML use cases, or data science collaboration. - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems OR Commerce/MBA/BBA/B com/Experience with Finance Domain Competencies SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
