The Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in the organization by being the primary point of contact between the company and the partnered bank. They are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the bank's customers to drive insurance sales and achieve business targets. This role is pivotal in expanding the market presence and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:Build and manage relationships with the bank's staff and customers to promote life insurance products.Meet sales targets and lead generation goals within the assigned bank branches.Provide personalized financial planning and insurance solutions to customers based on their needs.Regular training and product updates should be conducted for bank staff to enhance their understanding of life insurance products.Collaborate with the bank's team to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.Handle customer queries, issues, and escalations related to insurance products.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policiesPrepare and maintain sales reports, customer databases, and market intelligenceParticipate in promotional events, campaigns, and lead-generation activitiesMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide feedback for product enhancementContribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and marketing plansStay updated with industry knowledge, market changes, and best practices in insurance salesCollaborate with internal teams like underwriting, claims, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experienceRepresent the company professionally and ethically at all times Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in any disciplineProven work experience as a Relationship Manager in the bancassurance, insurance industryStrong understanding of life insurance products, sales techniques, and financial planning principlesExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationshipsProficiency in using CRM software, MS Office, and sales tracking toolsDemonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growthSound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance sectorCertification in Insurance or Financial Planning (e.g., LOMA, CFP) will be an added advantageAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities effectivelyAdaptable, proactive, and result-oriented approach towards meeting and exceeding objectivesWillingness to travel and work flexible hours as per business requirementsStrong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and sales performanceProfessional demeanor with a high level of integrity, ethics, and commitment to customer satisfactionAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration .
