Job Location- Pune (Onsite client location) Experience: 5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration or development with a focus on release management. Proven experience managing complex Salesforce deployments. Required Skills: Proficiency with Salesforce deployment tools and methodologies, such as change sets, Salesforce DX, or hands-on experience with any third-party deployment tools like Copado, Gearset, Flosum or Autorabit (good to have). Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.Experience in version control systems, incident tracking tools (i.e. JIRA) and build/deployment tools (i.e. Github and Jenkins) is required.Experience of managing releases on large, global platforms is requiredExperience in Continuous Integration and delivery process is required Relevant Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Copado, Flosum or Gearset certifications. The ideal candidate will ensure that releases are planned, tested, and delivered with minimal disruption to the business. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to manage the release lifecycle and maintain the integrity and performance of our Salesforce environment. Build consistent release management and deployment processes across out of the box feature configurations, programs and components to ensure they are adopted Responsible for coordinating / deploying releases of the software. Accountable for all aspects of a release plan and support transition plan/production readiness checklist (ensuring that no projects release faulty software into production).Work on automation of the provisioning of Salesforce instances, deployment of code and general configuration management. Manage source code for branch and merge strategy.Architect and design continuous delivery process and automation with Jenkins.Work with engineering managers and team leads and come up with the decision for the need of code branches.Build processes and metrics to monitor adoption.Key Responsibilities: Release Planning: Develop and maintain release schedules, including planning, documentation, and coordination of Salesforce releases and updates. Sandbox refresh planning and execution: Plan for Full copy/Partial copy sandbox refreshes. Create/Maintain the Sandbox refresh checklist. Coordinate and communicate with all the stake holders throughout the refresh process. Deployment Management: Oversee the deployment process for Salesforce applications, ensuring that all releases are deployed smoothly and in accordance with company standards. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, and other IT teams to ensure that all aspects of the release are properly communicated and executed. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all releases are thoroughly tested before deployment. Coordinate and conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure that the release meets business requirements. Incident Management: Monitor and address any issues that arise during or after the release process. Implement corrective actions to resolve problems and prevent recurrence. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, deployment guides, and post-release reports. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the release management process to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and streamline deployment procedures. .
