Job Description Azure Cloud Engineer Position: Azure Cloud Engineer Location: Chandigarh Department: Data Platforms & Engineering Experience: 35 Years About the Role ScatterPie Analytics is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Azure data services, ETL/ELT pipeline development, cloud storage, and modern data engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Azure. Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Develop data ingestion and transformation workflows for structured and unstructured data. Work with Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake Storage to manage enterprise data assets. Design and optimize Azure SQL Database solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production data pipelines. Implement data quality, security, and governance best practices. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud data platforms. Participate in solution architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
