Job Description: AWS Cloud & Devops Engineer Location: Chennai, India Education Level: Master s degree or equivalent Experience: At least 7 years Role Overview Within the Security & Technical Office (Sec&TO) domain, the Cloud Expert will support the application areas (Electronic Banking, Cash Management, Customer Data Services, and Factoring) in their technological evolution toward our dedicated cloud environment (IBM Public Cloud Instantiation). With over 80 applications operating on the dedicated cloud (PaaS and IaaS), this role ensures successful build deliverables while maintaining optimal functioning, performance, and stability across RUN operations. Key Responsibilities Cloud Expertise: Provide dedicated cloud expertise to the application areas of the OPS (BUILD / RUN) by supporting Production Engineers and assisting in application build projects on our dedicated IaC Cloud. Technology Watch: Test, validate, and document Cloud services while establishing best practices and recommendations for Cloud service usage within the OPS domain. Cross-Functional Implementation: Lead, study, support, and implement cross-functional subjects, including version upgrades, complex certificate renewals, deployment automation, and the creation and maintenance of services for PSOs. Qualifications & Experience Requirements Work Experience: At least 7 years of professional experience in Cloud engineering, DevOps, and IT operations. Education: Master s degree or equivalent. Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure: High-level expertise in Cloud technologies, specifically dedicated and private Cloud environments (knowledge of IBM public cloud is a plus). Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Cloud Management: Expertise in IaC management tools like Terraform. Proven ability to configure, manage, and monitor cloud-based services such as AWS EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS using Terraform and Ansible. DevOps & Automation: Hands-on knowledge of DevOps and automation tools, including Ansible, AWX, Jenkins, Terraform, GitLab, ServiceNow (workflows, forms, orchestration, NLU), JFrog Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault, Docker, and Kubernetes. Monitoring & Observability:Solid hands-on knowledge of Dynatrace. Technical & Behavioral Competencies Key Technical & Transversal Skills Ability to manage and deploy containerized applications. Ability to understand, explain, and support change. Ability to develop and adapt processes. Analytical ability. Ability to develop others and improve their skills. Ability to develop and leverage networks. Key Behavioral Skills Autonomy & Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly and work autonomously.
