About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive business growth and build a solid distribution network across Kolkata. This is a business ownership role where you will be responsible for driving sourcing, partnerships, and loan disbursements while leading an on-ground sales team. Key Responsibilities: - Own business targets for the assigned region, including sourcing, disbursements, AUM, and revenue. - Build, manage, and expand a network of Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), brokers, and other channel partners. - Drive partner onboarding, engagement, and productivity. - Lead and manage a team of Feet-on-Street (FOS) executives. - Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of business objectives. - Drive lead generation, conversions, and loan disbursements. - Build strong relationships with channel partners to maximise business opportunities. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery. - Resolve operational and business challenges to ensure consistent execution. Required Experience: - 812 years of experience in NBFC, Lending, Wealth Management, or Financial Distribution - Proven track record of consistently achieving business and sales targets. - Strong network with MFDs, IFAs, brokers, and channel partners in the Kolkata market. - Experience managing field sales teams. - Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
