IP CDI (Audit/2nd Level Experience)

Requirements: CCDS certification required RN preferred with 510 years of CDI experience Minimum 5 years of clinical experience required; complex specialty experience preferred Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and CDI practices Experience performing CDI audits, second-level reviews, and validation reviews Experience evaluating query opportunities and query compliance Ability to identify documentation improvement opportunities and coding discrepancies Experience collaborating with CDI, coding, and clinical stakeholders Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills Experience supporting customer-facing discussions and explaining CDI recommendations Experience with Optum, 3M, Iodine, or multiple CDI technology platforms Experience reviewing model-generated CDI opportunities and validating supporting clinical evidence Experience identifying alternate principal diagnoses, missed codes, and coding errors What can you expect from your Norwood experience Personalized recruiter relationships Industry Subject Matter Experts A sales department with reliable client relationships nationwide Remote opportunities that allow for positive life/work balance Permanent opportunities are available Travel expenses are covered upfront (if travel is required) Referral bonuses available Full time employees enjoy 6 paid holidays, PTO and health benefits Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
