The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating international export shipments and preparing and processing necessary documentation for corresponding shipments including but not limited to commercial invoices, shipping manifests, carrier labels, and routed export transactions. The Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for communication and collaboration with freight forwarders, carriers, and third party agents. This position reports to the Supervisor, Transportation Logistics/International and is part of the Beckman Coulter Life Sciences International Order Management Team and will be working remotely from India. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: -Oversee and manage logistics activities necessary for the timely transportation of goods internationally. -Prepare and process necessary documentation for shipments, including Commercial Invoice, shipping manifest, customs declarations within Automated Commercial Environment. -Address and resolve logistical issues such as delays, damages, or compliance challenges that may arise during transportation. -Analyze logistical data to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency in the supply chain. -Provide support to customers regarding logistics inquiries, including pricing, delivery times, and shipment inquiries. The essential requirements of the job include: Logistics or related field or Associate Degree with 2 years experience or HS Diploma/GED with greater than 4 years equivalent work experience Proven experience in international logistics or a similar role is preferred. Computer skills with ability execute reports, analyses data and present information with clarity Knowledge of international shipment terminology Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Collaboration with freight forwarders and carriers Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package to include Excel, Word and Outlook Experience with Oracle Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
