Principal Officer - IFSC Unit (GIFT City) (Gujarat)

A multi-family office and investment advisory firm is hiring a Principal Officer for its International Financial Service Centre unit at GIFT City. This is a dual-function role spanning investment operations and research. Part A - Investment Operations: - Trade execution and portfolio management: execute trades across US and Indian market products with timely, accurate order placement compliant with internal mandates and regulation - Manage end-to-end portfolio rebalancing and asset allocation for Indian mutual fund portfolios - Perform accurate trade allocations with proper lot-level accounting - Custodian and fund accounting: act as primary point of contact for custodians and fund accountants, coordinating settlements, reconciliations and operational query resolution - Prepare and submit reports, files and documentation on a regular and ad hoc basis - Compliance operations: track, prepare and file all monthly, quarterly and annual compliance submissions under PMS and Investment Adviser regulations, acting as primary point of contact with the regulator Part B - Research and Analysis: - Produce in-depth market research across Indian and US markets Candidate profile: minimum 5 years in the securities market or financial products, including as a portfolio manager, fund manager, investment advisor, broker dealer, investment banker, wealth manager or research analyst, or at a credit rating agency, market infrastructure institution or financial sector regulator.
