Job Title: Testing Engineer (Technical Services) Position Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Testing Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge SaaS applications. You will be involved throughout the entire application testing life cycle, from planning and execution to reporting, with a robust focus on API performance and load testing. Relevant Experience: 2-3 years Role: Testing Engineer Focus: SaaS-based applications Key Responsibilities Own the QA Strategy (Test Design & Execution): Design, establish, and execute our comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies from the ground up for our platform. Rigorous End-to-End Testing: Perform comprehensive testing across the entire application lifecycle, including functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing to ensure flawless service delivery. Performance & Load Testing: Conduct deep API performance and load testing. Act as the gatekeeper for scalability, stability, and responsiveness of the application under various user loads. SaaS Validation: Validate complex data integrity, user permissions, and security within a multi-tenant architecture. Advanced Defect Management & Troubleshooting: Log, track, and relentlessly manage defects using Jira. Go beyond surface-level reporting by applying critical thinking to perform root-cause analysis and replicate tricky edge cases before handing off to the development team. Technical Knowledge and Skills Core Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on testing multi-tenant SaaS-based applications. Testing Lifecycle Mastery: Deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Performance & API Testing: Proven hands-on experience in API performance testing and load testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, or similar. Strong grasp of REST API principles. Test Automation Foundation: Familiarity with or hands-on experience using modern test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium) to begin transitioning manual efforts into automated pipelines.
