Job Requirement: We are looking for an Investment Banking professional to join our Global Centers in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating, developing and summarizing analyses, preparing marketing materials, conducting research and analytics, and providing internal process support to the EDGE Team, a group spanning Global Capital Markets and Investment Banking. The focus of the team is to enhance client dialogue and increase engagement for coverage officers through differentiated content. You will receive variety of trainings covering financial analysis, business presentations, and practical skills. At the end of training, you will be able to understand financial concepts and have a strong understanding of the Morgan Stanley culture. In this role, you will gain exposure to financial markets and macro trends, build knowledge of banking and capital markets sectors and products, and work with colleagues across the division in core locations. You will: (Key Responsibilities) Work closely with team members in EDGE focused across Investment Banking / Global Capital Markets to provide a differentiated level of partnership to develop research, analytics and analysis. This will include both internal management and client coverage related tasksGather and synthesize financial and operating information about companies, industries and governments to analyze performance and drive strategic client dialogueDevelop industry / macro market landscape including key themes / trends, economic indicators, competitive landscape among other itemsLiaise with Morgan Stanley research in the identification and dissemination of information spanning the two divisionsPerform financial analysis, including financial modeling, financial metric benchmarking, capital structure analysis, firepower analysis, etc. along with their interpretationPrepare marketing materials including content used in pitchbooksGenerate presentations and memoranda for a wider senior audience within the FirmMentor juniors to ensure quality and consistency across deliverablesAnalyse and interpret business requirements to identify automation / process improvement areasOther administrative tasks to support overall deal flow and analysesYou have: (must-have skills and qualifications) MBA / CA / Bachelors Degree or equivalentMust have 3 6 years of relevant work experience in related fieldKeen interest in corporate finance / capital marketsWritten competency and spoken language fluency in EnglishGood communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teamsStrong analytical and numerical skills and are at ease with financial data Agility and ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentTeam player with a strong work ethic and motivation to learnAbility to manage expectations and handle high-pressure situationsMust have an advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Coding experience / knowledge of AI tools shall be viewed favorably WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients helping them reach their goals.
