This role will be responsible for driving the end-to-end architecture, design, and optimization of the Workday Benefits and Absence ecosystem. The role will ensure scalable system design, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration with Workday HCM, Payroll, and third-party vendors, while enabling efficient business processes and enhancing overall employee experience. Key Responsibilities:Owns the architecture and configuration for Workday Benefits and Absence ecosystems ensuring that designs are scalable for a growing companyCreate and maintain complex eligibility rules for benefit groups, benefit plans, leave plans, and time off plans for the company and acquired companiesDesign and configure absence plans ensuring alignment with policy and compliance requirements at the state and federal levelsConfigure a variety of benefit plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life and disability insurance, and 401(k)Support the Benefits team with compliance reporting such as ACA, COBRA, and FMLAPartner developers and benefit vendors set up new integrations and maintain existing integrations that impact the benefits and absence ecosystemsPartner with payroll teams to test downstream impacts and ensure accurate payrollLead regression testing for Benefits and Absence after new Workday releasesCreate custom reports including but not limited to standard, advanced, composite, and matrix reportsSupport Workday tenant maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting for Benefits and Absence functional areas and provide support in related functional area as neededAssist HCM Manager with preparing change management plans and creating guides for end usersTest AI features such as Workdays Employee Self Service agent and assist with overall innovation enhancementsEducation and Experience:5-8 years of Workday Benefits & Absence configuration experienceIn depth knowledge of the touchpoints between Benefits, Absence, HCM, and PayrollUnderstanding of FMLA and State Leave programsWorkday Benefits CertificationWorkday Absence CertificationExperience with time tracking integrationDegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or related degreeLocation: Pune .
