Purpose of the role Analyse, monitor, and conduct due diligence on private equity, private credit, venture capital, and co-investment opportunities across Layers 2 and 3 of the global portfolio. Work directly with the AI Labs tools to amplify analytical capacity and contribute to the institutional knowledge base. Key responsibilities - Monitor and analyse 1015 PE/VC/credit fund investments: capital call and distribution tracking, NAV analysis, portfolio company updates, IRR computation, and vintage year benchmarking. - Conduct due diligence on prospective PE/credit managers: fund strategy analysis, GP track record, team assessment, fund terms analysis, and reference checks. - Analyse co-investment opportunities: company-level financial analysis, valuation, risk assessment, and IC recommendation preparation. - Track commitment pacing: unfunded commitments, expected capital call schedule, liquidity planning, and over-commitment strategy. - Use AI Lab NLP outputs to analyse fund quarterly reports: extract portfolio company performance, identify emerging risks, and track GP commentary trends over time. - Monitor private credit portfolio risk: borrower credit quality, covenant compliance, default rates, and recovery analysis. - Maintain the PE/credit knowledge base: PPMs, quarterly reports, capital account statements, and co-investment memos ingested into the Document Intelligence Engine. Qualifications and experience - CFA or CAIA preferred. 35 years of experience in private equity fund analysis, private credit, or alternative investment due diligence. - Strong analytical skills: financial modelling, performance attribution, risk analysis. - Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg/Capital IQ, and willingness to adopt AI Lab tools (dashboards, chat interface, screening algorithms). - Excellent written communication: ability to produce IC-quality memoranda with clear recommendations. - Bachelors or Masters degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline. - Self-starter comfortable working independently in a distributed team workplace. .
