Role & responsibilities Compass is seeking an experienced professional to join our People & Culture team as a People & Culture Shared Services Associate. The P&C; Shared Services Associate provides administrative support and assistance to the P&C; team, handling tasks such as employee data management, serving as Tier 1 responding to HR-related inquiries, and assisting with benefits administration. The Associate will play a critical role in streamlining P&C; processes and ensuring efficient service delivery to employees and other P&C; stakeholders. Job Duties Tier 1 Employee Support - Act as a Tier 1/Primary point of contact for a range of Human Resources processes that include questions regarding P&C; policies and processes on topics such as benefits, leaves, time off, and standard operating procedures related to our HRIS. - Maintain Tier 1 shared services ticket management utilizing pre-determined methods of ticketing and triaging employee requests. - Route and manage requests for Manager and HR security for Workday - Follow operational procedures and best practices for identifying and escalating opportunities for efficiency. - Collaborate with Tier 2 teams to scale support through documentation and email macros. - Identify high interest topics using data to support the development and evolution of processes and procedures. - Respond to, or triage and troubleshoot inquiries related to benefits or various leaves; act as a resource for employees inquiring about benefits information, assisting with administration of leaves and other benefits, and ensuring all forms and documentation are complete and compliant throughout the process. Onboarding Support - In partnership with People Operations Associate, work to import all new hire documentation and data as completed through new hire onboarding. - Ensure new hires have completed necessary tasks prior to joining, responding to new hire inquiries regarding onboarding. - Partner with new hires to ensure they complete all required Form I-9 requirements in a timely manner. P&C; Operations/Shared Services Support - Partner with P&C; team and stakeholders on tier 0 (self-service) and tier 1 case management. - Act as a Workday HRIS expert, diligently and efficiently guiding P&C; team members and Compass employees through steps and actions they need to take in the system, while ensuring proper data management and process protocols are followed. - Support the Benefits team by creating, running or auditing Workday benefit reports and various census reporting. - Support the Benefits team with auditing/reconciling perks related billing using Microsoft Excel; experience in automating reports is a plus. - Partner with Business Partners and Generalists to use templates to draft memorandums for transfers, promotions, or other job changes, instructions for employees, and other documents related to employee record management. - Support business process upgrades, enhancements, testing and data validation in Workday and other HR management systems. - In accordance with our P&C; Data Governance Policy, manage data quality audits and initiate additional data quality audits to mitigate errors/issues. - Maintain and validate data in the HRIS, payroll and Time & Attendance system including, but not limited to: new hires/terminations, transfers, salary/wage changes, benefit deductions/changes, work locations, tax jurisdiction set up. - Contribute to other HR projects providing status updates, desktop procedure & process flow developments, knowledge transfer and training to the Shared Services team. Preferred candidate profile What We're Looking For: - Ability to follow instruction and documented SOPs in order to manage daily tasks - Experience with Workday HRIS platform, or similar HRIS platforms, including technical ability and data management experience. - Experience in creating, running or auditing Workday benefit reports and census. - Experience and demonstrated ability with auditing/reconciliations in excel (experience in automating reports a plus). - Some level of LOA experience and/or some knowledge of state and federal leaves/laws. - Demonstrated understanding of general benefits knowledge such as Qualifying life events, familiarity with U.S. benefits i.e. medical, dental, vision, Life/AD&D;, FSA/HSA difference, etc. - Proactive, effective communicator with strong customer service skills; working to consistently resolve issues efficiently, candidates must have exceptional verbal and written communication. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Proven ability to improve processes - 2+ years experience in a training, support or HR function - B.A. or B.S. degree preferred - Prior experience working in the HR function is preferred - Experience in Microsoft Excel; experience with automated reporting is a plus. - Experience with Zendesk (or equivalent ticketing system) and reporting a plus - Experience with Workday a MUST - TIMINGS : 6PM to 3AM .
