Job Purpose: The Sales Associate Inventory is responsible for maximizing revenue through the sale of in-house inventory, including both new and used aircraft parts. The role involves managing customer enquiries, preparing competitive quotations based on market intelligence, negotiating commercial terms, and converting opportunities into profitable sales while ensuring healthy cash flow. The position also supports inventory marketing initiatives, market research, and strategic analysis to improve inventory turnover and profitability. Duties and responsibilities: 1. Primary: Sell in-house inventory (new and used aircraft parts) to customers worldwide.Respond promptly to RFQs received through inventory listing platforms and other aviation marketplaces.Prepare and submit competitive quotations by evaluating: Current market pricing, Product demand, Historical sales data, Inventory availability. Follow up on submitted quotations to maximize conversion into confirmed sales orders.Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while maintaining target profit margins.Ensure timely order closure with a focus on cash liquidity and efficient payment collection.Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate order processing and customer satisfaction.Maintain accurate records of quotations, customer interactions, and sales activities in the companys systems. 2. Secondary: Promote and market our inventory across existing and emerging sales channels.Identify and evaluate new inventory listing platforms and sales opportunities to increase product visibility.Conduct market analysis to identify pricing trends, demand patterns, and competitive opportunities.Perform product-wise sales and inventory analysis to support business decisions.Recommend pricing strategies and inventory movement plans based on market intelligence.Handle customer negotiations and support commercial decision-making for strategic sales opportunities.Work closely with procurement, inventory, and management teams to optimize inventory turnover.Provide periodic reports on sales performance, quotation conversion, inventory movement, and market trends. Qualification: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or a related field. Experience: 25 years of experience in sales, inventory sales, aviation parts trading, or a similar commercial role.Experience in aviation aftermarket sales or aircraft parts distribution will be an added advantage.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, global business environment. .
