Head of Payroll

Ltd. is a leading HR and Business Solutions organization providing staffing and workforce management solutions to leading Banks, NBFCs, MNCs, and Corporate clients across India. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Head Payroll Operations to lead our payroll function and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end payroll operations for employees across multiple client locations.Prepare monthly payroll input data in Excel with complete accuracy.Validate attendance, leave records, statutory deductions, reimbursements, incentives, recoveries, and other payroll inputs.Coordinate with the external payroll processing partner (HGS) by sharing payroll inputs and reviewing processed payroll files.Verify salary registers, payroll reports, statutory deductions, and bank upload files received from HGS before salary processing.Ensure timely salary disbursement by validating bank upload files.Resolve payroll-related queries from employees, HR teams, and clients.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Labour Laws, and other payroll regulations.Generate payroll MIS, reconciliation reports, and management dashboards.Coordinate with Finance, HR, Compliance, and Operations teams for payroll closure.Lead payroll audits and maintain payroll documentation.Mentor and manage the payroll team while driving continuous process improvements.Desired Candidate Profile Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.812+ years of payroll experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of Payroll, PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Labour Laws, and statutory compliance.Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (Advanced Excel preferred).Experience coordinating with third-party payroll vendors is highly preferred.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work under strict payroll timelines and handle confidential information.Immediate Joiners will be given preference Compensation: 30,000.00 - 60,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
