The Role Join our founding team to build South India's manufacturing networkthe region generating 40%+ of India's textile exports. This isn't traditional sourcingyou'll architect our platform's manufacturing backbone with equity ownership and direct influence on strategy as we scale from Karnataka to pan-India operations. Key Responsibilities Own manufacturer discovery, verification, and relationship management across Tamil Nadu (Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Karur, Erode), Karnataka (Bengaluru, Hassan), and Andhra Pradesh textile clusters Build network of dyeing processors, printing units, embroidery vendors, and input suppliers across knitted garments, home textiles, and technical fabrics Design standardized audit frameworks for capacity, quality systems, and compliance certifications (OEKO-TEX, GOTS, WRAP, ZDHC) Match factory capabilities with international buyer demand from Europe, North America, GCC, and Southeast Asia Monitor production timelines, quality, and delivery metrics; resolve bottlenecks across the value chain Provide market intelligence on pricing, capacity trends, and emerging capabilities to inform platform strategy What You Bring 58 years in textile sourcing, merchandising, or production management with proven track record onboarding 15+ export-oriented manufacturers Deep operational knowledge of knitted garment and home textile manufacturing (spinning, weaving/knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing) Established network with manufacturers, processors, and suppliers across Tamil Nadu textile clusters Entrepreneurial mindsetcomfortable building systems from scratch, thriving in ambiguity, and taking ownership beyond defined roles Strong factory audit, compliance standards (SEDEX, BSCI, Higg Index), negotiation, and relationship management skills Good to Have Bachelor's/diploma in Textile Technology, Apparel Management, or related field Fluency in Tamil/Telugu/Kannada and English; proficiency with Excel and supplier management tools Why Join Founding team equity with stock options aligned to company growth Direct strategic influence on product roadmap, expansion strategy, and business model Build infrastructure unlocking global market access for 10,000+ South Indian textile MSMEs Clear growth path from regional lead to national operations leadership (Year 2-5 scaling) Ready to Build If you're tired of being a cog in a machine and want to be the engine of a new supply chain revolution, let's talk.
