We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Java with Spring Boot to join a global team, driving end-to-end systems development in a dynamic, Agile finance environment while building strong relationships with business partners and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis to coding, testing, UAT, implementation and maintenance in an Agile environment Develop high level and detailed technical designs, testing strategies, and implementation plans Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that provides exposure to all areas of Finance Understand and respond to business needs, facilitate and develop process workflow, data requirements, and specifications required to support implementation Build strong relationships with business partners Identify opportunities for cross-divisional collaboration and reuse of common solutions Write unit and integration test cases to ensure robust, bullet-proof software Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage multiple tasks as part of a team Requirements 5 to 8 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, RESTful Services, Kafka, and Gradle/Maven Strong analytical skills for technical and functional analysis and design Good communication skills and ability to work as a team player in a global team Solid experience in relational databases with SQL and/or MongoDB Real experience with Splash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and microservice development Sound knowledge of modern libraries and toolkits such as Guava and JodaTime for development-time, build-time and deployment-time activities Experience with test-driven development including jUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber Hands-on software development experience preferably in Java, Python, or Scala, with exposure to RDBMS and NoSQL datastores Strong programming and problem-solving skills Clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts Strong full-stack technical design and development skills and experience Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences and working globally Nice to have Experience with the DocuSign product Experience working with distributed caches such as Geode, Ignite, and Cassandra Interest in finance We offer Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects Focused individual development Benefit package: Health benefits Retirement benefits Paid time off Flexible benefits Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.) .

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
