As an Engineering Director, you will combine technical leadership with a strong people-first approach, driving engineering excellence, scalable processes, and effective commercial execution. You will also play a key role in developing and empowering a globally diverse engineering organization while delivering impactful business outcomes. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Lead a globally distributed engineering organization supporting order execution, engineered-to-order solutions, product development, research, and product lifecycle management.Provide strategic direction to align global engineering priorities with business objectives and customer needs, partnering closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams.Develop, coach, and retain engineering talent by fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.Optimize engineering resources and budgets, balancing near-term execution priorities with long-term capability building and innovation.Establish performance visibility through meaningful metrics, dashboards, and capacity planning to support decision-making and continuous improvement.Drive standardization of engineering tools, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency across regions and product lines. For This Role, You Will Need: A bachelors degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Proven experience leading engineering teams, including geographically dispersed or global teams.Strong ability to work across cultures, time zones, and cross-functional environments.Demonstrated success delivering results in a complex, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.Ability to assess processes, identify gaps, and implement effective solutions.Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship for this role. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Experience in the industrial valves or flow control industry.Advanced degree such as a masters in engineering or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).Experience in driving global engineering transformation, standardization, or digital initiatives.Exposure to product lifecycle management, engineered-to-order environments, or global manufacturing operations. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
