Purpose of the Role The role is accountable for conceptualizing, planning, and executing the company capacity expansion agenda in line with its strategic aspiration of achieving 100+ MTPA capacity and selective international expansion. The incumbent will lead the entire lifecycle of projects (Cement + AFR + Railway) from ideation, feasibility, land and statutory readiness, engineering design, contracting strategy, execution, commissioning, and stabilization. The role will also be responsible for driving industry-leading capital efficiency, with a clear focus on achieving lowest cost per tonne of installed capacity, in line with the companies' philosophy of cost leadership and disciplined capital deployment. The role will act as the custodian of capital efficiency and project governance, while building future-ready capabilities in low-carbon technologies, digital plant infrastructure, and modular project execution. Job Responsibilities (KRA) Deliverables Delivering multiple large-scale projects concurrently across diverse geographies Balancing speed of execution with capital discipline and quality Navigating complex regulatory and land acquisition environments Building future-ready assets amid evolving sustainability and carbon norms Managing a large and diverse contractor ecosystem effectively Job Requirements (KPI) Educational Qualifications & Experience Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Civil) 25-30 Years of experience Competencies Strategic thinking with strong execution orientation Proven ability to drive cost leadership in capital projects (cost per tonne mindset) Experience in data-driven project governance and digital tools (SAP, dashboards) Strong financial and commercial acumen in capex management Exceptional stakeholder management capability Ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teamsHigh level of resilience, adaptability, and decision-making under complexity Visionary in translating growth ambition into tangible assets Disciplined and governance-oriented in capital deployment Collaborative in working across functions and external partnersBuilds institutional capability beyond individual projects Reports to: CMO or Managing Director Direct Reports: (8 to 10) e.g. Project Heads, Engineering Leads, PMO teams Span: Pan-India with potential international oversight .
