The Vice President Engineering will define and execute the companys technology vision in close partnership with the CEO and executive leadership. This role will lead IoT product engineering, AI driven innovation, platform scalability, and technical operations to deliver a secure, reliable, and scalable B2B IoT platform aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CEO and leadership team on IoT product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution Lead large engineering teams across firmware, cloud, data, and application layers Drive end to end development of IoT platforms including device integration, data pipelines, and analytics Own the AI and intelligent automation roadmap for IoT use cases Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of IoT platforms Define engineering best practices, architecture standards, and agile delivery processes Build, mentor, and retain high performing engineering leaders and teams Collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders for seamless execution Provide hands on technical guidance on architecture, scalability, and complex problem solving when required Mandatory Requirements 15+ of experience in software and IoT product engineering leadership Prior experience leading and scaling engineering teams is mandatory Proven experience as VP Engineering, Director Engineering, or similar senior leadership role Robust background in building and scaling B2B IoT platforms Deep experience with IoT ecosystems including devices, sensors, gateways, and cloud platforms Expertise in cloud native architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong understanding of distributed systems, data ingestion, real time processing, and cybersecurity Hands on exposure to contemporary technology stacks such as Node.js, React, Kubernetes, Redis, and IoT protocols Experience working with AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics applied to IoT data B.E. or B.Tech from a reputed institution Leadership Traits Strategic thinker with strong execution orientation Ability to translate business goals into scalable technology solutions Passion for building secure, reliable, and world class IoT products Robust people leadership, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills .
