Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Unity Developer to join our development team and gain hands-on experience working on exciting projects for the defence industry. You will assist in creating realistic, interactive applications that provide immersive training experiences for military and security professionals. Youll gain hands-on experience in developing and optimizing Unity-based simulations, with a focus on terrain creation, user interface design, and interactive features tailored to defence combat scenarios. This role will allow you to develop your technical skills while contributing to high-impact projects that help advance defence technology and tactics. Responsibilities: Assist in the development of Unity-based applications, including games, simulations, or interactive experiences. Work on terrain development, including the creation and optimization of landscapes, environments, and other 3D assets within Unity. Assist in the design and implementation of UI/UX elements to ensure smooth and intuitive user experiences. Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to integrate assets and features into Unity projects. Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality, smooth gameplay. Participate in debugging, testing, and refining features to ensure functionality across platforms. Collaborate with the team in Agile sprint meetings to contribute to project planning and task completion. Document code and assist in improving development processes and pipelines. Requirements: Basic knowledge of Unity and C# programming. Skill in terrain development and environment creation within Unity. Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and experience in implementing user interfaces. Ability to integrate UI elements and interact with Unitys UI systems (e.g., Canvas, Buttons, Sliders, etc.). Basic understanding of C# programming and Unity scripting techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn and improve. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Unitys terrain tools and procedural generation techniques. Experience with Unitys UI tools, such as the Canvas system, TextMesh Pro, and UI animations. Basic knowledge of Python is a plus (for scripting or supporting development tasks). Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience with performance optimization techniques in Unity (e.g., Level of Detail, Occlusion Culling).
