Employment Type Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and proactive Hardware & Networking Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in networking, IT infrastructure, server deployment, and surveillance systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing network infrastructure, installing and configuring servers and CCTV systems, troubleshooting hardware and network issues, and ensuring seamless connectivity across devices and sites. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi network infrastructure. Plan and configure network topology based on project requirements. Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, access points, and firewalls. Install, configure, and commission physical and rack-mounted servers. Install and configure Windows Server and/or Linux Server operating systems. Configure RAID, storage, BIOS settings, and server hardware components. Install, configure, and commission CCTV/IP camera systems. Configure NVRs/DVRs and integrate cameras into the network. Make CCTV cameras accessible remotely by configuring network settings, port forwarding, DDNS, VPN, and cloud connectivity where required. Diagnose and resolve server, hardware, networking, and connectivity issues. Perform preventive maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and surveillance systems. Prepare network diagrams, IP addressing plans, server documentation, and installation reports. Coordinate with clients during installation, testing, and commissioning. Ensure proper cable management and adherence to installation standards. Provide on-site and remote technical support whenever required. Required Skills Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN, and routing fundamentals. Experience with network design and implementation. Hands-on experience with routers, managed switches, wireless devices, and firewalls. Experience in server installation, hardware assembly, RAID configuration, operating system installation, and basic server administration. Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Server environments. Knowledge of structured cabling and network rack installation. Experience with IP Cameras, NVRs, DVRs, PoE switches, and surveillance systems. Ability to configure remote camera access and troubleshoot online connectivity issues. Familiarity with server brands. Familiarity with networking and surveillance products. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Good communication and documentation skills. Qualifications Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MTCNA, Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, or equivalent will be an added advantage. Preferred Candidate Profile Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in networking, server installation, and surveillance solutions. Ability to independently handle server deployment, network implementation, and CCTV installations. Willingness to travel for on-site installations and service calls.
