Analyst, Risk Management This is a role that requires incumbent to own & execute global processes related to personal Independence monitoring activities. The opportunity This opportunity will enable the professional to help the firm and its client serving professionals in making right decisions with respect to client & engagement acceptance, in sync with EV internal compliance policies and regulatory framework. This role will assist in evaluating the risks associated with each client & engagement and suggest ways to mitigate them. As an independence professional, this opportunity enables to drive projects for identifying & evaluations risks associates with firm's audit clients, specifically maintaining firm's independence with respect to audit clients and helping engagement teams in alleviating them. The candidate should be comfortable working in an unstructured & complex environment requiring out of box thinking, logical reasoning, sound communication skills and ability to make quick decisions. The candidate should be able to continuously add value to assigned processes and develop solutions for situations that may not have been previously documented. Your Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise: Conduct research using both systematic and intuitive secondary research techniquesAnalyze the research findings, draw inferences and conclusions in response to the research requirementUnderstands key requirements of firm and regulators' risk management rules and policiesUses analytical and project management methodology and toolsCompletes all assigned projects/tasks in line with the standard operating proceduresEnsures completeness, accuracy and appropriateness of all task assignedFacilitates and drives the process to completion by timely following up on requests from OnshorePlans and organizes own work and keeps the project managers/key stakeholders informed of status and activitiesPerforms a self-review of the results prior to submitting to the project managersFlags issues/potential challenges to the project managers at an appropriate time so that timely action can be initiated Client Management Skills And Attributes For Success Exceptional and proven customer service skills, including responsiveness and commitment to qualityHighest standard of ethics, integrity, and values.Highly motivated with ability to perform well even when under pressureRole may require working post shift hoursPlans and organizes own work and keeps others informed of status and activities.Ability to work well in a team and foster teamwork among othersAbility to work with a global mind-setGood analytical skills with a logical mind-set To qualify for the role, you must have MBA/MCOM/MA or equivalent post-graduate degree from a reputed institute0 - 0.6 years of experience in a research/ analysis roleCandidates with exposure to handling international customers/client interaction would be preferred.Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills in EnglishIntermediate level of knowledge in MS OfficeMust be well versed with financial instruments used for investment purposes like Shares, Mutual Funds, Insurance etcWell acquainted with terminologies like ISIN, CUSIPs etc Ideally, you'll also have Knowledge on difference between risk advisory and risk managementPresentation skills, including public speaking and presentation creation using PowerPoint or a similar programCritical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data Technologies and Tools Experience in MS office suites like Microsoft 365, MS excel, PowerPoint What You Can Look For A Team of people with commercial acumen, technical experience and enthusiasm to learn new things in this fast-moving environmentA team which has its foundation in the core values of trust, respect and teaming.
