Role Definition Responsible for Fluids design control, including management of engineering changes and controlled product documentation. Maintains and standardizes fluids drawings and database records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and configuration control. Coordinates with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to support APQP/FMEA inputs, risk evaluation, validation requirements, and controlled release/change-management activities. Ability to interpret and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, technical standards, and controlled product information. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate across engineering and non-engineering functions. Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and project milestones. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Experience with maintenance fluids, lubricants, or related chemical products. Product knowledge in one or more of the following: o Gear oils, Engine oils, Hydraulic oils, Transmission and drivetrain oils o Coolants, Fuels, Greases, Additives, Specialty chemicals Experience owning or supporting design control for an engineering product portfolio. Experience creating or revising product drawings, engineering specifications, and technical standards. Experience maintaining engineering databases, product master data, or product-definition systems. Experience executing APQP deliverables and developing Design FMEAs. Experience planning or reviewing verification and validation activities. Experience with supplier changes, alternate-source qualification, or product-change validation. Experience working with multidisciplinary and globally distributed teams. Familiarity with lubricant performance, fluid compatibility, product identification, packaging, labelling, or application requirements.
