Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: o Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including profit C loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. o Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. o Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and address audit findings effectively. Budget Preparation and Monitoring: o Develop annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and monitor adherence throughout the fiscal year. o Analyse budget variances and provide insights to management for strategic decision- making. o Implement cost-control measures to optimize financial performance. Treasury Management: o Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds to meet operational and strategic requirements. o Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize banking operations and reduce costs. o Evaluate and manage investment opportunities to maximize returns. Internal Controls and Compliance: o Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency. o Conduct periodic reviews of processesto identify gaps and recommend corrective actions. o Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate policies, and statutory requirements. Strategic Financial Planning: o Support senior management in strategic financial decision-making. o Provide financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and risk assessmentsto aidin long-term planning. o Participate in the development of financial strategies to achieve organizational goals. Team Leadership o Supervise the accounting team and provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff. o Ensure continuous professional development and training for the accounting team. Software & Systems Management o Manage and maintain accounting systems (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP) and ensure data integrity. o Liaise with the IT department to enhance accounting software functionality as needed.
