We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with robust expertise in Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure while automating software delivery through modern DevOps practices. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline automation, cloud security, and Azure platform services. This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, security, and operations teams to enable reliable and efficient application deployments. Key ResponsibilitiesAzure DevOps & CI/CD - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. - Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes for enterprise applications. - Implement deployment strategies such as Blue-Green, Canary, and Rolling deployments. - Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scanning into CI/CD pipelines. - Optimize pipeline performance and deployment reliability. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep. - Build reusable IaC modules and templates for Azure resources. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration across development, staging, and production environments. - Manage Terraform state, module versioning, and infrastructure lifecycle. - Ensure infrastructure consistency, scalability, and compliance. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) - Deploy, configure, and manage applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). - Configure Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, namespaces, secrets, and persistent storage. - Implement cluster auto-scaling, monitoring, and high availability. - Troubleshoot AKS cluster performance and deployment issues. - Manage container images using Azure Container Registry (ACR). Cloud Infrastructure - Provision and manage Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Azure Active Directory. - Implement secure networking, identity management, and access controls. - Optimize Azure infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability. - Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives. Monitoring & Security - Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. - Configure alerts, dashboards, and automated incident notifications. - Apply DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and RBAC. - Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards. Collaboration & Automation - Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to improve deployment processes. - Support Agile/Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle. - Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues. - Document infrastructure, deployment procedures, and operational best practices. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
