Description : - One of India's most reputed proprietary trading firms is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in building, optimizing, and measuring low-latency order management and trading infrastructure systems. - This is a leadership-oriented role that blends deep hands-on engineering with ownership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration in a high-performance trading environment. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and deliver infrastructure projects end-to-end, ensuring high quality and on-time execution - Design, build, and optimize low-latency, high-performance trading infrastructure systems - Take ownership of system reliability, performance, and scalability - Work closely with trading, quantitative, and technology teams to support evolving business needs - Make hands-on contributions to coding, architecture, and system design - Mentor and guide junior engineers; actively contribute to team capability building - Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure performance and operational excellence Key Criteria : - Qualified Engineer from Tier 1 institute with 4+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering / systems engineering - Strong coding skills (Python/C++/Java or similar) - Proven experience in leading projects or small teams (middle management exposure preferred) - Experience working in fast-paced / trading / financial markets environments is a plus - Solid understanding of systems design, networking, and performance optimization - Ability to take ownership and drive initiatives independently .
