Role Description The Insurance Agent role at Vakta Associates is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Insurance Agent will meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance needs, explain policy options, and recommend suitable coverage. Daily activities include generating leads, following up on inquiries, preparing quotes, and completing policy applications and renewals. The role involves maintaining accurate client records, coordinating with insurance providers, and ensuring timely resolution of claims-related questions. The Insurance Agent will also provide ongoing customer service, conduct periodic policy reviews, and participate in local marketing and outreach initiatives to expand the client base. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively promote and explain insurance products.Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to support clients with policy selection and financial planning considerations.Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build trust, respond to inquiries, and handle client issues professionally.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and respectfully.Basic proficiency with office software and CRM or sales tools for managing client data and documentation.Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage time efficiently, and meet sales and service targets.Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or related sales roles is preferred but not mandatory.Relevant education in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial; applicable certifications or licenses are an advantage. .
