AVP & Business Analytics

As a C12 (Individual Contributor) AVP in the Retail Bank Fraud Analytics team at Citi Analytics & Information Management (AIM), your role is crucial in analyzing transaction data to understand fraud patterns and develop fraud loss mitigation strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to minimize fraud losses and customer impact by monitoring strategy performance, collaborating with the implementation team, and proactively leveraging new data sources and advanced analytics techniques. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct handson analysis on a regular and ad hoc basis, extracting various data sources, generating fraud risk insights, recommending business solutions, and optimizing existing rules to improve performance.Develop a holistic view of different retail banking products, integrate analytical thinking with business knowledge, and use data analysis tools to create clientcentric solutions.Utilize analytics experience in the BFSI domain, proficiency in statistics, hypothesis testing, segmentation, and predictive modeling. Strong skills in SAS, SQL, Hive, Impala, Excel, and preferable knowledge in Python and Tableau.Manage stakeholder relationships across functions and regions, translate data into consumer insights, and communicate effectively with business partners and senior leaders.Deliver clear presentations to share thoughts, solutions, or problems with stakeholders and senior management.Manage projects by creating project plans, assigning responsibilities to team members, completing projects timely, and addressing control issues transparently. Own and deliver complex analytic projects that create economic value.Qualifications8+ years of analytics experience, preferably in Fraud analytics.Advanced analytical and business strategy skills.Effective communication and presentation skills.Project and process management abilities.Experience in financial services analytics.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.Selfstarter with the ability to work successfully in a team environment.EducationBachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
