We're Hiring: Senior QA Engineer Location: Hyderabad | Ahmedabad | Indore Experience: 5+ Years About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer (ETL & Data Testing) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in software testing with a focus on ETL, data validation, SQL, and basic automation. You will play a key role in ensuring data quality, validating complex data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Perform ETL and data validation testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases. - Validate data transformations, integrations, and load processes. - Write SQL queries for data validation and verification. - Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using Python for data comparison and regression testing. - Support integration of automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines. - Test BI reports and dashboards for functionality and data accuracy. - Track defects, maintain test documentation, and provide regular testing updates. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile environment. - Leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing productivity and efficiency. Required Skills: - 5+ years of experience in Software Testing with exposure to ETL/Data Testing. - Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and validation. - Hands-on experience with ETL testing and data validation. - Familiarity with Python and Selenium for automation testing. - Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of Azure Cloud fundamentals. - Experience testing Power BI reports or other BI tools. - Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Good to Have: Experience with Microsoft Fabric. Understanding of Lakehouse and Data Warehouse concepts. Knowledge of incremental data loading processes. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
