Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Linux Software Engineer with strong expertise in C++ development, embedded systems, and Linux-based platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience developing software for advanced edge computing platforms such as NVIDIA IGX Thor, Jetson, or similar embedded systems, and a strong interest in applying AI technologies and agent-based solutions in embedded environments. Looking for 7+ years of Experience. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications and platform services using Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20). - Develop software solutions for edge computing platforms such as NVIDIA IGX Thor, Jetson, or similar embedded systems. - Follow established SDLC processes, coding standards, design reviews, test strategies, and release management practices. - Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Perform complex debugging, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization across software and system layers. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and engineering best practices. - Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders in a Scaled Agile (Protected) environment. - Contribute to the adoption of AI technologies, AI agents, and intelligent edge computing solutions. - Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and Agile ceremonies to ensure predictable delivery. - Drive reliability, maintainability, scalability, and security of software products. Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills - Strong proficiency in C++ and Embedded Linux development. - Experience in system programming, multithreading, IPC, networking, and platform software development. - Strong debugging skills using tools such as GDB, Valgrind, Perf, and Linux diagnostics tools. - Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and software development tools. - Working knowledge of Python and Shell scripting. Professional Competencies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities. - Strong focus on software quality, process compliance, and engineering excellence. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work across global teams. - Ability to adapt and learn emerging technologies, including AI, Generative AI, and AI Agents. - Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments and delivering software through the complete SDLC lifecycle. Preferred - Experience with NVIDIA IGX Thor, Jetson, CUDA, TensorRT, Edge AI, AI Agents, or LLM-based applications. - Exposure to Industrial Automation, IoT, Autonomous Systems, or AI-enabled embedded products. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
