Job Title: Embedded Systems Developer Company: Viral Industries Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Department: Research & Development About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Developer to join our R&D; team. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing reliable embedded software and firmware for industrial-grade valve automation systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware. Implement accurate position control using encoder feedback and limit logic. Develop robust motor direction control, torque protection, and overload handling mechanisms. Integrate various sensors for temperature, current, voltage, and load monitoring. Develop user interface (display + local controls) and remote communication features. Implement industrial communication protocols for integration with PLC/SCADA systems. Design fail-secure operations, power management, and protection features. Perform system debugging, testing, and performance optimization. Collaborate with mechanical, hardware, and testing teams to deliver a complete product. Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and firmware manuals. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelors / Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field. 23 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development. Robust proficiency in Embedded C programming. Experience in Motor Control applications (AC/DC motors, contactors, relays, or drivers). Good knowledge of sensors & feedback systems (Encoders, Current sensors, Temperature sensors, etc.). Experience with communication protocols (Modbus, BLE, RS485, etc.). Familiarity with display interfaces (TFT, OLED, or LCD) and GUI development. Understanding of EMI/EMC issues, power supply design, and industrial product reliability. Experience in actuator, valve automation, or industrial automation products is a solid advantage. Preferred Skills Knowledge of RTOS or real-time programming. Experience with wireless communication (BLE / Wi-Fi). Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development practices. Hands-on experience in product development from prototype to production. Compensation: 30,000.00 - 35,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
