Principal QA Lead - Test Automation

We are seeking a hands-on Principal QA Lead - TestAutomation to drive quality engineering across iOS, Android, APIs, and backend services. This role is responsible for automation strategy, test framework development, CI/CD quality integration, and technical leadership while partnering with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute mobile and backend test automation strategy.Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for iOS, Android, and APIs.Build and manage CI/CD-integrated test automation pipelines and quality gates.Lead performance, reliability, and release-readiness testing initiatives.Mentor QA Engineers and SDETs through technical guidance and code reviews.Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to improve product quality and delivery.Required Skills & ExperienceExperience15+ years of experience with significant experience in mobile test automation.5+ years of technical mentorship and lead experience.Mobile Development & Test AutomationSwift, SwiftUI, XCTest, and Xcode.Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Compose UI Testing, and Android Studio.JUnit 4 and JUnit 5.Understanding of mobile application signing, packaging, and command-line deployment.Backend & API TestingExperience testing APIs and backend services.Working knowledge of Java and Spring/Spring Boot.CI/CD & DevOpsGitLab CI and YAML pipeline configuration.Bash/shell scripting.Linux, Docker, and CI/CD automation.AWS experience preferred.BrowserStack experience is a plus.Additional QualificationsStrong programming and automation framework design skills.Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. .
