OVERVIEW The Digital and Technology team at General Mills India Centre is looking for a Senior D&T; Intelligent Automation Engineer to contribute to the companys global digital transformation agenda through intelligent automation delivery. This role is expected to design, develop, and operate scalable automation and AI-enabled automation solutions. This includes leveraging deterministic and probabilistic automation, low-code platforms, workflow technologies, and advanced agentic AI to create measurable value across our global operation. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES An associate in an Intelligent Automation team, focusing on building automation solutions using ServiceNow and integrating AI with Machine Learning and Agentic AI capabilities, would typically have the following key accountabilities: Solution Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automation solutions within the ServiceNow (Various UI Experience portal, workspace, playlist etc, Workflows, CRUD Apps) Translate business requirements and process flows into technical specifications and automation workflows. Develop custom applications, modules, and integrations within ServiceNow to support automation initiatives. Main point of contact for the team to address complex issues and prevent business interruptions. Leads the recruitment and training initiatives for the automation team. Provides coaching and reviews the work of colleagues. Serves as the point of contact for external vendors and platform partners. Dedicates time to researching the latest automation technology stack and influences technology and business stakeholders to adopt relevant automation solutions. ServiceNow Platform Expertise: Develop Custom Low Code Applications utilizing ServiceNow App-Engine (Web UI, Workflows, CRUD Apps) Enhance and maintain CSM module for business. Configure and customize ServiceNow Applications, including workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards. Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and governance policies. Power Automate experience: Exposure to Power platform (PowerApps, Power flow, Automate etc) Provide ongoing support for existing power platform solutions in production, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and stability improvements. Help rationalize the technology landscape by identifying PowerApps and flows that should be modernized or migrated to ServiceNow based on business value, complexity, supportability, and platform fit. Integration Development: Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, GCP , SQL tools) using REST APIs Ensure secure and reliable data exchange between connected systems. Manage automation platforms, infrastructure, security, and modernization efforts. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of automation solutions, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify and resolve defects, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities in developed solutions. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions, including design documents, user manuals, and support guides. Manage project documents & delivery processes. Also, responsible for the standards & processes of Talent Acceleration Center Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and other IT teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives. Participate in agile development ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives). Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in intelligent automation, ServiceNow, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and new automation initiatives. Contribute to the team's knowledge base and best practices. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support for deployed automation solutions, including incident resolution and problem management. Monitor the performance and health of automation workflows and integrated AI components. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree with 8+ years of experience and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Expert in ServiceNow .
