Position OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Smart Home Deployment Specialist to execute installations, configure smart devices, commission automation systems, and ensure successful project delivery at customer sites. You will be responsible for transforming approved automation designs into fully operational smart homes by deploying devices, configuring systems, testing functionality, troubleshooting issues, and training customers on system usage. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with technology, solving practical problems, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in the field. Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & DeploymentInstall and commission smart home devices at customer sites.Deploy gateways, smart switches, relays, curtain controllers, sensors, and related automation hardware.Coordinate with electricians, contractors, and site teams during installation activities.Ensure installations are completed safely, professionally, and according to project specifications.Verify device placement, signal coverage, and system performance before handover.Device Configuration & System SetupConfigure and onboard smart home devices into the appropriate automation ecosystem.Set up mobile applications, gateways, hubs, and user accounts.Configure automation routines, scenes, schedules, and device interactions based on customer requirements.Test all configured systems to ensure reliable operation.Testing & TroubleshootingDiagnose and resolve device connectivity issues, pairing failures, automation errors, and networking problems.Identify and rectify signal coverage issues related to WiFi, Zigbee, Thread, or other wireless technologies.Conduct site testing and validation before project completion.Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical teams when required.Customer Handover & SupportConduct customer walkthroughs after project completion.Train homeowners and endusers on system usage and mobile applications.Ensure customers understand key features, automation routines, and troubleshooting basics.Provide post-installation support when required.Project DocumentationMaintain installation reports, deployment records, and site documentation.Record device configurations and project completion details.Provide timely project status updates to internal teams.Candidate ProfileRequired SkillsStrong technical aptitude and willingness to work in field deployment environments.Ability to troubleshoot hardware, networking, and smart device issues.Good understanding of mobile applications, WiFi networks, and smart devices.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively with customers and site teams.Professional attitude and customerfirst mindset.Experience38 years of experience in one or more of the following:Home Automation InstallationSmart Home DeploymentAV System InstallationNetworking & WiFi DeploymentCCTV & Security SystemsBuilding AutomationLow Voltage System InstallationElectrical or Electronic Field ServiceExperience working at customer sites and managing installation activities.Familiarity with home automation products and smart devices will be an advantage.Preferred QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.Experience working with smart home ecosystems and IoT devices.Ability to read floor plans, wiring diagrams, or project layouts.Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Delhi NCR.Technical Knowledge (Preferred)Smart home platforms and mobile applications.WiFi, Zigbee, Thread, Matter, and IoT networking concepts.Smart switches, relays, sensors, gateways, and automation controllers.Aqara, Tuya, Smart Life, Sonoff, or similar smart home ecosystems.Home networking and mesh WiFi systems.Training on Aethelon AI products and deployment standards will be provided.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive fixed salary based on experience and skill level.Performance bonuses linked to successful project delivery and quality standards.Travel, fuel, and field allowances.Comprehensive technical training and certification opportunities.Exposure to cuttingedge smart home and AI technologies.Career growth opportunities within a rapidly growing technology company.Why Join Aethelon AI Work on premium residential automation projects across Delhi NCR.Gain handson experience with the latest smart home technologies.Be part of a fastgrowing .
