ITOM & CMDB Specialist - Flexera

Description : Job Title : ITOM & CMDB Specialist (UCMDB / FlexeraOne) About the Role : We are looking for a skilled ITOM & CMDB Specialist to manage and enhance IT asset visibility across hybrid environments. This role involves leveraging tools like OpenText UCMDB and FlexeraOne, integrated with ServiceNow CMDB, to improve discovery coverage, ensure data accuracy, and drive automation across infrastructure ecosystems. Key Responsibilities : - Configure, implement, and optimize UCMDB / FlexeraOne for infrastructure and software discovery - Manage and improve CMDB data quality, governance, and accuracy - Handle agent deployment, troubleshooting, and discovery-related issues - Design and implement discovery patterns, integrations, and automation workflows - Integrate discovery tools with ServiceNow CMDB for seamless data flow - Support CMDB design, service mapping, and data modeling initiatives - Drive tool upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvements - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and participate in Agile practices Required Skills & Experience : - Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping) - Experience working with UCMDB/FlexeraOne or similar discovery tools - Strong understanding of IT Asset Discovery and CMDB frameworks - Experience with agent-based discovery tools and API integrations Exposure to hybrid environments, including : - Microsoft Azure - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - VMware / Oracle / SQL Nice to Have : - Scripting knowledge: Python, PowerShell, Jython, or Perl - Experience with automation/configuration tools like Ansible, Chef, Jenkins - Understanding of ITIL practices and Service Mapping concepts Why Join Us : - Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale ITOM transformations - Exposure to modern hybrid and cloud environments - Collaborative and growth-focused work culture .
