As a VP in Fund Accounting & Reporting at DWS, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial control and oversight of real estate and private market funds across global jurisdictions. You will work closely with Fund Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Fund Administrators, gaining expertise in fund finance and operations while collaborating with global teams and thirdparty administrators. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee financial reporting and accounting processes of real estate and illiquid funds, ensuring compliance with internal policies, fund documentation, and local regulations.Review and challenge NAV calculations, management and performance fee workings, valuation adjustments, investor allocation, and expense accrual.Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness according to applicable GAAPs, with a preference for US GAAP.Provide oversight of SPV-level financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with accounting standards.Support delivery of periodic board packs and oversee regulatory and management reporting deliverables.Coordinate with external service providers and ensure timely execution of capital calls and distributions.Stay updated on industry updates and provide fund finance insights for management reporting and investor presentations.Liaise with tax providers for annual tax returns and reporting processes.Qualifications Required10 to 16 years of experience in Fund Accounting.Strong expertise in Real Estate fund structures and financial review.Experience with US GAAP, financial and regulatory reporting.Understanding of valuation methodologies for illiquid investments.Proficiency in stakeholder management and continuous improvement initiatives.Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant/CPA/ACCA.The company is committed to diversity and inclusion, fostering a high-performance culture by embracing diverse views and promoting teamwork. .
