Job Title: Purchase & Sales Engineer (API Valve Manufacturing) Job Summary: Purchase & Sales Engineer (API Valves) will be responsible for handling purchase and sales activities for API valve products while coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal departments. The candidate should have hands-on experience in the API valve manufacturing industry with knowledge of valve assembly, testing, inspection, quality documentation, and technical specifications. The role requires strong techno-commercial skills to support procurement, customer inquiries, quotations, order execution, and timely delivery while ensuring compliance with API standards and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities - Handle purchase and sales activities for API valves and related components. - Prepare and follow up on customer quotations, purchase orders, and sales orders. - Coordinate with vendors for raw materials, castings, forgings, machining, and bought-out items. - Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers. - Review customer technical specifications, drawings, and valve requirements. - Coordinate with production, planning, QA/QC, and dispatch teams for smooth order execution. - Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production schedules. - Prepare and maintain commercial and technical documents related to orders. - Verify quality documents such as MTC, ITP, QAP, inspection reports, hydro test reports, and final documentation. - Monitor valve assembly, hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, and final inspection activities. - Ensure compliance with API standards, customer specifications, and company quality procedures. - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales technical support when required. - Maintain records of purchase, sales, inventory, and vendor performance. - Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors and customers. - Support business development by identifying new customers and vendors. Skills & Qualifications: - Knowledge of API Standards: In-depth understanding of API standards related to Oil & Gas (e.g., Q1, API 6A, API 16C, QM)). - Testing Expertise: Experience in manual and automated testing of systems to meet API standards. - Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - 25+ years of experience in the API Valve manufacturing industry. - Knowledge of API valves, assembly, testing, and inspection. - Understanding of quality documents (MTC, MTR Test Certificates etc.). - Experience in purchase, sales, vendor development, and customer coordination. - Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications. - Positive negotiation, communication, and MS Office skills. - Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Extensive working knowledge of products, services, and applications as per API-Q1/6A/16C. - Extensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations. - Strong computer skills and communication skills. - Minimum of 2 years management experience with proven track record in a related position, oil and gas field or industry Salary: - Negotiable on person ability skills & knowledge. TIMING -9:00AM TO 5:30PM 2nd & 4th saturday off. Job Type: Full-time Compensation: From 300,000.00 per year Experience: - 5S: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person .
