Key responsibilities: 1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and supporting financial records. 2. Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions. 3. Raise invoices and receipts and maintain accurate client billing records. 4. Monitor outstanding invoices and send timely payment reminders and follow-ups to clients. 5. Maintain the accounts receivable tracker and escalate overdue payments as per company procedures. 6. Share approved terms of engagement, fee schedules, and payment instructions with clients. 7. Ensure signed terms of engagement and payment records are received, recorded, and properly filed. 8. Update internal databases, case management systems, and financial trackers with invoice, payment, and engagement details. 9. Reconcile bank accounts, client receipts, vendor payments, and other financial transactions. 10. Process vendor invoices and coordinate timely vendor payments. 11. Assist with monthly payroll processing and ensure timely salary payments. 12. Prepare workings and supporting documents for GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements. 13. Coordinate with the chartered accountant and other advisors for timely statutory compliance and return filing. 14. Prepare management reports on revenue, outstanding receivables, expenses, cash flow, and collection status. 15. Assist in preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheet schedules, and other financial reports. 16. Monitor cash flow and highlight upcoming financial obligations or collection concerns to management. 17. Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and financial analysis. 18. Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, accounting procedures, and applicable regulations. 19. Coordinate with the client service and operations teams regarding billing, collections, refunds, and payment-related queries. 20. Maintain confidentiality of client, employee, and company financial information. 21. Perform other accounts and finance-related duties assigned by management. .
