As a Senior Engineer Workday HCM, you will design, implement, and support end-to-end Workday HCM solutions with a focus on Core HCM functionality and enterprise integrations. You will operate as a lead engineer on medium-to-large initiatives (Epics), applying DevSecOps best practices while owning feature delivery from design through production support. You will play a critical role in TJXs digital HR transformation by partnering with HR leaders, product owners, and downstream technology teams to deliver high-impact Workday solutions that scale globally. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Solution Delivery Lead design and delivery of Workday Core HCM solutions supporting worker lifecycle, organizations, job architecture, business process framework, and security. Design, develop, and support Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, and APIGee. Own and deliver Epics and complex features, including architecture, estimates, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and support. Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical and functional Workday designs. Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including security, performance, reliability, and compliance (SOX, internal TJX standards). Technical Leadership & Ownership Act in a Lead Engineer capacity for Workday initiatives, prioritizing work, guiding engineers, and resolving technical issues. Make architecture, design, and technical decisions within assigned scope, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. Serve as a Workday subject matter expert for Core HCM and integrations, with a deep understanding of end-to-end HR business processes. Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, integration patterns, system performance, and operational excellence. Operations, DevSecOps & Quality Champion DevSecOps best practices, automation, testing, monitoring, and release management for Workday solutions. Support Workday releases, testing cycles, regression testing, and production deployments. Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production issues across Workday HCM and integrations. Ensure secure handling of sensitive HR data and alignment with data privacy policies. Collaboration & Talent Development Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Identity, and vendor teams to deliver integrated HCM solutions. Mentor junior engineers and support onboarding of new team members. Contribute to engineering standards, patterns, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Support talent acquisition through technical interviews and hiring activities as needed. What You Will Need (Minimum Qualifications): 5+ years of Workday HCM experience, with strong functional expertise in Core HCM. 3+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience, including EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, and Web Services. Proven experience leading medium to large initiatives (Epics) and owning features end to end. Strong understanding of Workday Business Process Framework .
