We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with robust expertise in Python, Django OR FastAPI, PySpark, and Apache Airflow to design, develop, and optimize scalable backend applications and data processing pipelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building enterprise-grade applications, working with large datasets, and implementing robust ETL workflows. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Django. - Build and optimize ETL/data processing pipelines using PySpark. - Develop, schedule, and monitor workflows using Apache Airflow. - Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following software engineering best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Engineering, QA, and DevOps. - Optimize application and pipeline performance for scalability and reliability. - Design RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems and internal services. - Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions. - Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of applications. - Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering best practices.
