FIS Open Payment Framework (OPF) is a set of reusable and extensible components, frameworks, and technical services which can be assembled in different configurations to build a personalized Payment Processing System. From the Open Payment Framework, FIS has created predefined solutions around the bank payment hub, including Domestic & International payments (XCT), SEPA Direct Debits & CreditTransfers (SEPA), SCT INST , UK Faster Payments, Immediate Payments, eBanking (EBK), Business Payments (BP), NPP, BACS, US ACH. What you will be doing Develop and maintain complex programs Work with Business Analyst to understand business problems and rewrite them into fast and efficient solutions that ultimately help our customers. Designing, coding, and debugging and maintenance of Java, J2EE application systems. Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation. Perform peer code review and mentor junior team members. What you bring: Must have 4+ years of experience in J2EE Technologies. Proficiency in Core Java (Collections, Concurrency/Multi-Threading, Localization, JDBC), J2EE, ANSI SQL, XML, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, EJB, Messaging using JMS, Unit & integration testing, Linux. Good experience in Database concepts (Oracle/DB2) and Build tools e.g. Maven, Gradle Good experience of Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices Hands on experience in Web Technologies (Spring, Hibernate, JSP, HTML/DHTML, Web services, JavaScript) Must have knowledge of one J2EE Application Server e.g. WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic, Jboss. Sound knowledge of Git, SVN, Jenkins Working Knowledge of JIRA or equivalent. Sound analytical & communication skills Sound debugging skills & hands on knowledge of industry standard tools such as eclipse, SOAP UI, postman etc. Good to have skills includes Production Support and maintenance experience Knowledge of FIS products and services. Knowledge of financial services industry. Worked on using AI tools - CoPilot Experience of AI Agents, tools. Adaptation and using AI in day-to-day work.
