Role Description The Cross Border Tech Compliance Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role focuses on advising clients on cross-border regulatory and tax compliance, particularly in relation to digital accounting systems, technology-enabled reporting, and UAE-related VAT, excise, and corporate tax requirements. Day-to-day activities include assessing client processes, identifying compliance gaps, and recommending technology-driven solutions that align with local and international regulations. The advisor will collaborate with accounting, tax, and audit teams to design workflows, support system implementations, and ensure accurate, timely filings and documentation for cross-border operations. The role also involves preparing compliance reports, supporting internal and external audits, and providing ongoing guidance to clients on evolving regulatory standards and best practices. Qualifications Strong knowledge of cross-border regulatory frameworks, including UAE VAT, corporate tax, excise tax, UBO, ESR, and AML compliance, with the ability to interpret and apply these in technology-enabled environments.Experience with digital accounting systems, financial reporting tools, and technology-driven workflows, including setup, training, and optimization of accounting and compliance software.Proficiency in core accounting and finance practices such as bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, costing and budgeting, profit forecasting, ratio analysis, and financial clean-up and review.Demonstrated ability to support audit and assurance activities, including internal and external audits, audit preparation, documentation, and coordination with audit teams.Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Information Systems, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or compliance/AML certifications) are an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and advisory skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory and technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in .
